Fleetwood Mac‘s Lindsey Buckingham has expanded his upcoming 2012 U.S. solo tour to include a series of concerts in the Northeast and Midwest.  The new leg of the trek will begin on May 29 in Boston and is scheduled through a June 16 stop in Columbus, Ohio.  The singer/guitarist’s previously announced shows, which run from May 3 until May 21, all take place on the West Coast.  He’s planning to add more performances to his itinerary in other parts of the country, as well.

These intimate shows will feature Buckingham performing alone, as he continues to promote his 2011 album, Seeds We Sow.

“As I’ve grown as an artist, I’ve gotten more and more in touch with my center, and that center is voice and guitar,” Buckingham says of his upcoming one-man gigs.  “I’ve been thinking of doing this kind of tour for a while, and am quite excited to be doing something new, something outside my comfort zone.”
