Last month, Guns N’ Roses fans were disappointed when a reunion of the all the group’s founding members didn’t materialize when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Former guitarist Slash says that fans shouldn’t expect the original lineup to ever get back together, no matter what the occasion or monetary offer.
“That last Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing was it,” Slash tells The Daily Beast. “I’ve been entertaining the idea for other people for years, but it’s never been my inclination to get back together. Given the opportunity for us all to show up in one place, that was the only reasonable platform for us to do it, and it didn’t happen. I’m really sick to death of even entertaining the concept.”
In other Slash news, the guitarist is currently trekking across North America in support of his recently-released album, Apocalyptic Love, featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.
