SANFORD–Students graduating from Lee County high schools in 2015 will join other students around the state who have to pass a test showing their proficiency in CPR. Gov. Bev Perdue signed two bills into law Thursday requiring students to learn CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, and pass a test showing their proficiency in both, in order to graduate from high school. It becomes effective with the class of 2015.
