CARTHAGE–33 year old Michael McPhaul of Carthage died Saturday morning in a one vehicle accident near Raeford. Troopers say McPhaul rounded a curve and struck a tree. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Smith & Pugh Funeral Home of Carthage.
