A new digital book focusing on Led Zeppelin and featuring dozens of rare photos of the rock legends will be released via Apple’s iBookstore on April 15.  Led Zeppelin: Sound and Fury was written by renowned photographer Neal Preston, who had unprecedented access to the band during the mid-to-late 1970s.

The book, which is viewable on the iPad, boasts hundreds of pictures, including more than 100 previously unseen images.  Among the photos features are shots of the band members in concert, backstage, at press conferences and movie premieres, on their private planes and at parties.  Sound and Fury also contains memorabilia, concert set lists, video and text interviews with various Led Zeppelin associates and audio commentary from Preston himself.  In addition, Stevie Nicks contributed an introduction to the eBook.

Led Zeppelin: Sound and Fury costs $9.99 and is available for pre-order now.
