Paul McCartney fans can now get a peek at what the rock legend’s upcoming album, New, looks like. The ex-Beatles superstar has revealed the cover art for the record, which will be released on October 15.
The album cover features the stylized New logo that McCartney recently debuted via his website, spelled out in florescent pink and yellow lights. The U.K. design team of Rebecca and Mike came up with the concept of the logo, while the cover image was photographed by video director Ben Ib and was based on the work of late minimalist artist Dan Flavin.
In addition, Sir Paul has revealed the track list of the deluxe version of New, which includes the 12 songs he previously announced for the album’s standard edition as well as two extra tunes titled “Turned Out” and “Get Me Out of Here.”
Meanwhile, just a reminder that McCartney will make his first-ever appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight. He’ll join host Kimmel in the studio for a chat, and then will perform a free concert on Hollywood Boulevard, which will be shut down for the event. The show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.
