Darlene Love will help David Letterman usher in the holidays when she makes her annual pre-Christmas appearance on CBS’ Late Show tonight.  The powerhouse vocalist will sing her soulful yuletide classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” a song she’s performed on the last Late Show episode before Christmas nearly every year since Dave began hosting the show in 1993. She also belted out the song on NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman from 1986 through 1992.

Late Show with David Letterman airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.

“Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” originally appeared on the acclaimed Phil Spector-produced 1963 holiday album A Christmas Gift for You.

Meanwhile, Love also has a few confirmed concerts on her itinerary, including holiday-themed shows tonight in New York City and on Saturday at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.
