Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson will be on hand Sunday to support her hometown football team, the Seattle Seahawks, by singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the NFC Championship Game at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks will face off against the San Francisco 49ers at the game, which will air live at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
Wilson won’t be the only musical guest at Sunday’s game: Grammy-nominated rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are scheduled to perform during halftime. If the Seahawks win, they’ll be headed to Super Bowl LVIII to play the winner of Sunday’s AFC Championship contest between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. This year’s Super Bowl will take place on February 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Meanwhile, Heart will soon be hitting the road for a U.S. tour. The band’s itinerary kicks off with a January 31 show in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and currently is scheduled through an April 6 show in Newark, New Jersey. Check out all of the groups confirmed tour dates at Heart-Music.com.
