    Mick Jagger Love Letters Sell for More than $300K at London Auction

    A collection of handwritten letters Mick Jagger penned in the summer of 1969 to his then-secret lover, American singer/actress/model Marsha Hunt, sold for a whopping 187,250 pounds, the equivalent of about $302,000, at a Sotheby’s auction in London on Wednesday.  The Telegraph reports that the purchaser was a private collector who submitted the winning bid via telephone.  The notes went for much higher than the expected sale price, estimated to be between about $110,000 and $160,000.
