    BROADWAY–During an interview Monday. Broadway Mayor Don Andrews said things are coming together for Saturday’s annual Broadway Our Way signature event. The event begins Saturday morning with vendors, games, cornhole tournament, barbecue cook off, and entertainment and will end Saturday evening with a street dance.     SANFORD–The Tuesday night meeting of the Sanford City Council will be s night of tribute and honor. The boar will adopt resolutions honoring the work of retiring Bob Bridwell, and honoring the memories of the late Ed Paschal, and the board’s longest city member, the late Walter McNeil.   • Filing is over for the May Primary

    SANFORD–Failure to get your name on the registration books by 5 pm Friday means you will be unable to cast a ballot in the upcoming May Primary. Early voting will start next week at the Elections Office on Steele Street and the McSwain Center on Tramway Road.     SANFORD–Want to cast a ballot in the May Primary? Well, make sure your credentials are in order. Friday st 5 pm is d-day for persons who have not registered.
