  • A change for the Sanford City Council

    SANFORD–Effective this week, the Sanford City Council will change the time of its regular Law & Finance Committee meetings. The change will allow working residents to attend.     SANFORD–The Lee County Board of Education will meet in special session Monday to consider a personnel matter. Most of the meeting will be held in closed session.   • Three Sanford men arrested on robbery charges

  • Will Harnett County be affected by drilling

    Lillington–Harnett County is not currently home to any drilling sites, but the county will be directly affected by driling for gas and oil in Lee County.
