  • Investigation continuing in the death of a thrift store manager

    SANFORD–Law enforcement officers searched throughout the evening for a suspect in the stabbing death of a local thrift store manager.   • Body found at local thrift store

    SANFORD–Sanford Police are probing an apparent homicide that was discovered Wednesday morning at the Thrift Store on Fields Drive. Sources close to the investigation told GP news that the body was found around 10:30 am. The crime scene was not cleared and the body moved until nearly 3 PM. Officers were searching an area near US 421 & McNeil Road after a suspect was spotted.
