  9. IN STUDIO GUEST: Don Miller, Associate Dean for Academic Advising and Transfer of CCCC. Been with CCCC since last year and has helped many students by equiping them with the resources they need to succeed. Says the students are more tech savvy now so the school is utilizing online models to help students. His office is still open to those students who seek in person assistance. There is a difference between visiting students and transfer students and they are willing to help with the difference. You can go to www.cccc.edu/apply-register and find what fits for you. You can take up to 3 courses during the summer but you can try and get permission to take more in needed. Over 60 transferable courses are being offered this summer, All English classes, some math courses, second languages, and man more are being offered over the summer as transferable courses. Many student love the eight week format and there have been more students signing up for the eight week format rather than the sixteen week format. The biggest challenge Mr Miller has faced in his position is getting everyone use to change. The advisors try to maintain relations with the students by helping them find the right avenues to help them succeed and find resources to help them stay in school.
