    (LOS ANGELES) — A statue of TV pioneer Ed Sullivan was stolen Sunday from the Academy of Television Arts & Science headquarters in North Hollywood, police said. The solid bronze statue, weighing around 20 pounds and standing about two feet tall, was stolen from its pedestal in the Academy’s Hall of Fame Plaza, according to police.     CBS Ordered to Pay $10.4 Million in "NCIS" Fatal Crash Lawsuit

    (LOS ANGELES) — CBS has been ordered by a jury to pay $10.4 million to the family of a security guard who was killed on the set of NCIS in 2011, TMZ reports. According to the report, a CBS production van was transporting NCIS crew members when the driver had a medical emergency and lost control.  The van crashed into 52-year-old security guard Julio Villamariona.  He died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
